means you have 2 (or more) jars with javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionIdListener in it. one of those jars is signed, the other ones either don't have jar signatures, or have different ones. http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/deployment/jar/intro.html fix your classpath. It is very uncommon to mix jetty embedded *and* jetty.xml in the same application.
