Dear Amy,

Two days ago I threw out a formally expensive toy that was broken. It was
like the movies: My mind was aghast as it watched my hand in slow motion
throw out the toy. Could I have replaced the broken part, spent more $$ on
batteries, and have a obnoxious toy that works? Whew! I need to just
reminding myself that a fire or tornado would clean out Everything! (Not that
I want that to happen!)

But yes, My crockpot liner broke and I still have the outside waiting for the
day I can go garage sale-ing to look for a replacement liner. Maybe I should
just toss the outside and treat myself to a whole new one? Maybe the big
size since we are 5?
