LOL. I took the wallpaper down in my hall bathroom a couple of years ago and
I didn't do anything to the walls in all that time. I didn't want to
rewallpaper and I couldn't just paint because it came off unevenly. Finally
I saw something in a magazine that I liked and I put up layers of drywall
compound (tinted with paint). I really like it and it was a (fairly) easy
solution. But I sure did procrastinate for a good while! I want to do better
about that in 2002.
