Well,
The living room is done as well as it can be for now.
I still have some tweaking, but it is presentable.
The kitchen is 1/8th done. I also managed 3 loads of
laundry. What was dried was put away, the rest is
hanging on the line inside and will be dealt with
tomorrow. I try to hang as much as possible to avoid
shrinkage. Our dryer has one temperature
setting---melt. Basically all that goes in there are
socks and dh's undies. :)
I was right, I didn't have to twist dh's arm at all to
get him to drive dd and I to Walmart! I made a list
(Milk, Turkey Roast, Diapers, Pull-Ups, Folders) and
got only 2 things that weren't on it and that was dh's
fault. He told me as we were leaving that he is
getting sick and did we have any Alka-Seltzer Cold
Medicine? So I got 2 of those for him. :) I did
pretty good.
Dd fell asleep on the way home in the truck (gee, it
rides that nice) and is currently passed out asleep on
the sofa so I really can't do too much for fear of
waking her up. Poor me, right? LOL
I will be on later tonight, perhaps there will be more
to add. At least I had the foresight to get something
for dinner (the Turkey Roast). And the poor cashier
dropped my milk which exploded all over the floor and
her. I felt so bad, but was glad it wasn't in the
parking lot like it usually is. :)
Julie
