Hello Listmates, No, I haven't forgotten that I issued a challenge for today. I woke up to a stuffy nose, I guess dh shared his cold with me. I am feeling pretty good though. :)I had to call the insurance guy to arrange/finalize insurance for dh's new truck. He had to call me back so I couldn't get on the computer. :( Then it got to be challenge time so I didn't dare get on. Here is what I have done: stripped master bedroom bed stripped dd's bed vacuumed the living room lightly (picked up all the fuzz that breeds at night) washed 2 loads (sheets) 1 load folded and in the basket ready to come upstairs and be put away when all laundry is finished along with the dried stuff from yesterday. :) drying second load as I type started dining area (see explanation below)
The dining room is coming along, slowly but surely. I decided to start right inside the doorway and work my way around to the slider, then tackle the table. I moved dd's little kids table out of the way, vacuumed the floor and the baseboards. I went through my cookbook box (too many to fit in my little bookshelf), recycled a whole bunch of clippings and recipes I'll never make. :) Dusted the bookshelf, the extra chair to the left of the hutch, the hutch (not inside the glass though, that is another day), the extra chair to the right of the hutch. Thought of Sherry the whole time too. :) <g> Dd and I had lunch which consisted of peanut butter sandwiches (crackers for her) and apples. Dinner for tonight is in my head (already planned that is). I haven't come upstairs empty handed, I always try to bring something that belongs up here with me. It isn't all put away yet, but my main focus is the dining area right now. Of course I have a pile of stuff to go to the basement that I forget every time. As I come up the steps I say to myself 'you went down empty handed again numbskull'. Well, better get back to the dining room. Have to clean out the bottom of dd's high chair (kind of became a paper pile somehow) and then start the table. Will report back later.
