I generally lurk and get a lot out of everyone's posts. Thank you! I've actually done a little decluttering this past week. I've gone through closets & dropped off several bags of things at the Goodwill. We moved last July to a MUCH smaller house, which I LOVE, but I still have tons of boxes all over. I went through several big ones taking up space in the kitchen & managed to get rid of/put in its place/ a lot. But I still have all the little things that I didn't get to, and they are still all over the kitchen floor & top of the island. I've also gone through a few of the (MANY) boxes still in the garage & likewise, have lots of little stuff I didn't know what to do with scattered over one half of the garage (the half I used to park in LOL). [note: the other half of the garage is FULL of boxes] Ok, so my inlaws are coming on Jan 28 to stay with us for a week & I'd like to make some more progress before they get here. So I'm posting that fact here for you all to see & maybe I'll be more accountable. Part of my challenge is that my dh works from home & we homeschool our 2 kids, ages 6 & 3. So today I decided I needed to make some decluttering appointments with myself & have dh take the kids out of the house while I work or get some babysitting lined up. I'm the leader of my local babysitting co-op so you'd think I'd already have done this, but...no time like the present.
