Hello all

Well I am please to say that I am better, still constantly blowing my nose
but otherwise ok LOL.

I didn't manage to do a lot over the last couple of days except sort recipes
and keep on top of the dishwasher.

I have several tasks to complete tomorrow and Sunday

[ ] Laundry, of course, but its a lot easier with my new super duper Tumble
dryer
[ ] Clear out the bottom of DHs wardrobe, theres a tail here see below!
[ ] Sort through all the bed linnen, winter and summer
[ ] Pick up in all rooms
[ ] Put sorted recipes into envelopes (main dish, soup, vegetables, basics,
puddings, etc)
[ ] Catch up on email and list admininstration
[ ] Begin Spring cleaning in office

The 'tail' mentioned above belongs to the dog, Hobo. He loves to sit in the
bedroom window and watch the world go by. Well recently DH has been leaving
the bedroom door open for him so he can sit up there when we are all at
work. I only have one objection to this, when Hobo isn't watching out the
window he's sleeping 'in' my bed!!! He spends more time in it that I do
LOL. I love him to bits but I am not happy with the situation.

I have discussed it with DH and he wants Hobo to be able to watch from the
window and wouldn't budge. As he is the last to leave the house I had to
convince him to close the bedroom door another solution had to be found.

We have decided that the best of both worlds would be to put the bedding
away each morning and put a cover on the bed, that way we are all happy. It
only takes five minutes to untuck the bottom sheet and roll everything up in
it, then put on the 'dog cover' and tuck that in. We tried it yesterday and
yes we timed it. We only had to find somewhere to put our large sausage of
bedding!

As DHs wardrobe is at the bottom of the bed and he is only using the top
part, the bottom of it being full of junk and old shoes it was decided that
this was the ideal place for our sausage of bedding. DH agreed to empty it
and sort it then find homes for what he's keeping.

He also agreed, earlier in the week, that we need new bedding, duvet and
covers, sheets, pillow cases, etc and has agreed to pay half. I didn't wait
an instant ... I was online and ordering before he could decide on a colour
LOL. It all came this morning.

So that is why I am throwing out all the old stuff, its not good enough to
even donate, its been patched and mended that many times. I even cut the
sheets in half and sewed the edges together, sides to middle my mother calls
it (why do sheets always go in the middle).

Well I had better get moving, talk to you later

Louise
