I have to tell someone that I had a productive day (I am new at this!) I got the Christmas tree down and the biggest accomplishment was not that most of the house decorations are put away, but that I went thru all the boxes and threw out a garbage bag full of old outdated half broken decorations and ornaments and have another bag of stuff that I am just sick of and am giving to outreach for someone else to enjoy! I have been meaning to do that for 10 years!!! I think I may have halfed the amount of boxes we usually have to stuff into the attic!!!! The best part was we threw out all the lights that were on the tree and will buy new ones next year. Maybe it will avoid the half out problem we have been having every year. The biggest decision of all was to throw out 2 parts of our sectional couch. We had to move them for the tree, and we decided that instead of moving them back to the living room, we would move them directly to the curb!!! (The cat had gotten to the backs of them when he was a kitten and we always had to put blankets over the back as it faced the window!) I feel like I have new furniture just knowing that I don't have those terrible pieces anymore! Plus, I have more room in my living room and my house looks bigger!!! I LOVE IT! Tomorrow I will finish and make the 50 or so phone calls I must make for the theme tray night I am running on Friday! Another job well done (well, almost!) Thanks for lsitening!
