Well littermates,
I got a break today! Dh took dd to mil's house for
the day because she whined to go for about 20 minutes.
I had 2 choices, the master bedroom or dd's room. I
decided on the master bedroom.
I dusted. Thought of Sherry (yes, I now associate
dusting with Sherry. I don't know why but hey, I am
dusting fairly regularly now so I don't question it.
<g>). Dressers, mirrors, bed frame, blinds,
baseboards, quilt rack, cd player. It all got dusted.
Thought of Sherry A LOT. :)
I vacuumed. I destroyed my phone cord. The vacuum
ate it and shredded it at the same time. I was
surprised that a phone cord could stop a vacuum motor.
 Learn something new every day.
I picked up dh's pile of rewearable clothes from his
side of the bed. Most of which ended up in the
laundry. He came home when I was pretty much finished
and started a new pile. <sigh> I got him a basket and
told him if it isn't in the basket, it is mine and he
will have to pay to get it back and that if he wanted
clean clothes to wear he better not mess with the
overworked, tired, hormonal pregnant lady. <bg>.
I cleaned 2 of the 3 mirrors. And my computer screen!
And the windows. Dd's fingerprints are gone. Too
bad I can't get the outside done too, oh well.
I vacuumed my computer and the dresser it sits on.
Yes, I vacuumed it with the dust attachment. I would
rather use the vacuum and dust that way when dust
hippos are involved, less stirring up that way. I
didn't do behind that dresser (from This End Up, need
I say more? I am NOT moving that thing even when I am
not pregnant.) I did vacuum under and behind the
other dressers. :)
I hung up clothes that were hanging in front of the
closet (over the door hooks). Folded sweaters and put
them away. Tidied hangers, pulled all the unused
hangers into one spot.
I have to do in front of the closet (big nasty pile of
stuff, can't open one closet door, the other door is
off and dh has to fix it, been waiting a year for that
one <g>), the vanity (and under it my files. It is
more of a dressing table kind of thing. Sink, vanity,
drawer, mirror, ect.), and MY dresser tomorrow. I
have about 3/4 of the room done. The worst is yet to
come, but I have momentum.
I got rid of some stuff. Have stuff to go out to
Goodwill. Recycled a lot of paper. Compiled a list
of all of those scraps of paper that I wrote cool
websites to check out "another time" on one piece of
paper. Put all my computer cd's into a basket.
Dh hung a picture for me (been waiting 2 years for
that). He took me to Walmart for a new phone cord and
he wanted some leather cleaning/conditioning stuff for
the new truck seat. We went to Taco Bell. He stopped
at the grocery store so I could get my turkey breast
on sale (.89 a lb). Now he is at mil's picking up dd.
I am tired, but happy it is done. :)
Anyone working tomorrow? Come on. I need company. I
won't be able to listen to my punk covers of 80's new
wave songs tomorrow (volumes 1 and 2), I need some
help.
Julie
who will be back to listening to Wheels on the Bus
again tomorrow. :(
