Debbie -

You have my sympathy. I'm in the same boat. I keep saying that I went to
school once and I did just fine - so why do I have to do it again?? I did
survive older son's middle school years, complete with tests and projects.
He's a freshman now and I help a little with the projects, but he mostlly
does everything on his own and he's been pretty responsible about it. So
there is hope...

Younger son is is 4th grade and the work is really cranking up, as well as
the projects. I'm learning things that I've already learned and forgotten -
and I'm not sure I want to know them! The best thing about the second go
round is that I've got the first one to help me. Sometimes when my patience
(or time) runs out I assign the older one to study with the younger and help
him with his homework questions. Chase is very tolerant of this and it is a
big help to me.

I guess its all working out because Andrew brought home his report card
yesterday with all A's. And better yet, all "Excellent" in behavior! YESSS!!!

Diane
