Rebecca,

You've got that right! I've done so well on clutter in the house, but somehow
traveling is my weakness - and I've already cut way back on what I bring.
It's an area I need to keep working on - especially for flying with the
current airport situation.

Generally I do better if we're going to fly, but when we start loading the
van I just toss EVERYTHING in there. Particularly when we're traveling for
soccer and have to be prepared for any weather because we're going to be out
in it - no matter what. I've stood huddled under a golf umbrella while
wearing a rain jacket with a poncho over it and sheets of rain pouring down
around me, while the team played on and the ball "plopped" from one puddle to
the next. Boy, did I regret not having my rubber boots that weekend - not
somthing I really wanted to buy more of...

Just the gear alone for soccer is ridiculous - 2 uniforms, 2 practice
jerseys, thermal tops, 2 sets of cleats & shingaurds, etc. I need to work on
packing less "extra" clothing - it ends up being so much to load, unload and
keep track of.

Thanks for the reinforcement~

Diane
