I have the same trouble trying to sleep when DH is gone;
of course, when he's here, he keeps me awake with his snoring,
so I never seem to get much sleep, LOL.
The only thing that helps me is to stay up past my reg. bedtime (reading) in bed so I'm really sleepy, and leaving a lamp on downstairs (kind of fools me into thinking he's coming to bed later, ya know?)
I also do lots of praying on those nights :)
