Hi Louise and everyone! Yes I watched it and a big thank you to Elaine for highlighting it! I'm really sorry that our overseas buddies didn't get the opportunity to see the programme because it would have generated a lot of discussion... The lady who was directing the decluttering process (in conjunction with that poor divorced lady whose junk it was) is the owner/founder of The Holding Company, a pretty expensive place which sells bags, shelves,storage items, drawer dividers etc. I got a catalogue once and thought it horribly pricey!!! I thought it very brave of someone to volunteer to have their place dejunked on camera and it was somewhat painful to see the emotion generated in the process. I felt for that lady and winced somewhat because I'm divorced and have been on my own for almost 10 yrs. as a single mum. It made me realise that some of my clutter is a result maybe from "holding on"... Anyway, positive thinking! I found the JFC site the first day we went on-line and it was on the AOL web page or at least I was directed to it... I've had a little time to myself thro' being unwell so I've had the chance to read e-mail (I only sent my 1st ever 20 days ago) and I'm taking positive babysteps to declutter. It's just the start but I feel that I've embarked on the journey! And... I've packed up and put away the Chtistmas decorations! The best bit was that I got rid of some tatty old ones which we didn't much like so 3 boxes became 2...20 days ago I'd have packed away the 3... Yesssss!!!!! Progress has been made.
