LOL Joan, thanks for the vote of confidence! I'm not so sure myself. Somedays I really wonder what I'm doing. You're not alone, I think we all have those doubts about whether we're doing the right thing for our kids. All we can do is hang in there and do our best each day.
Let us know how the "first drive home" goes. I hope I'm right and Chase has to go to class BEFORE he gets the permit. Otherwise I'll be wishing that the DMV office was a bit closer to home. Could be a long drive...
