Sixth grade is very hard. Harder for parents. She's in 7th this year and I just want to hit her teachers over the head with a #12 skillet! My daughter is some kind of ld. I'm trying to get her tested so I face the "no homework" or "I did it in class" situations a lot. Projects are awful. I do have an extra set of books at home, (except for math) so that helps me.
I can tell you from experience that it gets a little easier (so far anyway). Good luck!
