If I had *specific locations* where the
miscellaneous bits
of my life lived, it would make things a *lot*
easier
I have had a time in my life where this
was done. Why not now? Probably because there are more of us, more
choices, and the lack of consideration when I do.
I can clear an area
in a space no one uses and then I find one of my DD's playing in it!
(Like wow! what a novelty!)
But you are correct! That is a goal
of most (if not all) of us, to have a place for everything and everything in
it's place!

Exactly, my two darling daughters, decided to play with
their kitchen toys and tinker toys in the hallway of all places. They
had been sent to clean their room and instead decided to build a playground
for mice! The hallway is clean so let's play there! At least they
were out of the way while I cleaned the bathroom and cleared the living and
dining rooms.
