A similar method that sometimes works for me, is to
make a list of only 9 things. Make them specific so
they are small. For example, instead of clear floor in
living room, I might list, 1)pick up toys off living
room floor, 2)reshelve books, 3)pick up dirty clothes
from living room floor, 4)take dirty dishes from lr to
kitchen, 5)fold throw blanket, 6)put movies back in
respective cases, 7)wrap up nintendo cords, etc. Each
item is small, takes very little time so you get a
sense of accomplishment. Choose a number and list that
many tasks. DO NOT take on any more tasks until those
are done. Then you can make a new list of the same
number of tasks and do them. Remember to keep your
tasks small. Each item should take 2 to 5 min only. If
it helps, post a mini list here, then go do it. When
you are done, come back and report in. There is always
someone to give you feedback and encouragement. This
is truly a great list for that.
