Hey you guys! I am backtracking thru emails and LOVE all the creative suggestions for the stopped up lint in the vent system. When someone mentioned pantyhose, and someone else mentioned wet-dry vac, something clicked in my head! Why don't I use old panty hose to cover my wet dry vac filter so it won't get so clogged up with horrid lint and which slows down its powerful suction? Now cheer me on so I can actually DO this! It sure beats running to the Home Depot to buy clean filters. I have already tried brushing off the used filter and made a much bigger mess than the sum of all the litte messes the wet-dry vac cleaned up over time! Keep these ideas coming, you never know who they might help, grin. I LOVED the little animal idea that got vetoed, I have a cat, real name Mr. Kisses, honorary name Mr. Numbskull, who sticks his head and body into any nook and cranny he can find. He even comes running if he hears the toliet flush! He just loves to watch that swirling water! Sorry if I grossed anyone out, I don't actually kiss him! He just adds an element of humor to my life.
