Hello
Elaine,
You need to
find the balance that works for you of what goes on your counters and what is
put away. The things you use constantly "earn" their counter space. My
dish drainer is one of these items. When I had a home for it under the counter,
I was not as prompt washing one or two things as they were used. So now it lives
in my sink. I have a spray bottle of dishwashing soap & water, a quick
squirt, wipe, rinse and into the dish drainer. I prefer to let dishes air dry as
dish towels transfer germs.
Here are
pictures of my counters. I am in the middle of a project and it is lunch
time so there are a few extras on my counter.
Kindest
regards,
Vanetta

Subject: Re: [JFC]: Diane - Kitchen Counters
If by "worktops" you mean your kitchen counters, I have a suggestion.
Anything that is not used every day (or close to it) should be stored in the
cabinets, pantry or whatever you have for storage.
Diane .... yes I do mean kitchen counters.
Thank you very much for your advice I will certainly do as you suggest. And have to admit there are mug trees x 2, knife block plus herbs and bottles of oil etc on the counters.
Also my coffee and tea things are usually out (I drink alot of tea)!!!! But that is not excuse.
Will let you know how I get on.
