I have a dishwasher, I wouldn't be without one. My reasons are several: 1 I have a machine to wash clothes so why not one to do the dishes 2 It saves time, water and money 3 You can close the door on a half filled dishwasher, you can't hide dirty dishes as quickly when there sitting in a bowl an unexpected guest arrives
We had to learn a few good habits to begin with. First one up empties and puts away the clean. Then as things get dirty they are put into the dishwasher. As soon as its full, we run it. When its finished we empty it. Once a week we clean it inside and out. Personally when I bought mine my prime reason was to save me time, to me time is more precious and far out weighed the initial cost.
