Yes, it does seem like a healthy response for a healthy child. Unfortunately, my boy is in the midst of some sort of crisis and walking around in the middle of the night without his parents knowledge is a little unsettling. I was just upset with the cop's attitude toward me -- like I knew he was doing this. After I told him that we have rules in our house that Kyle doesn't want to follow, he did lighten up a bit. He told Kyle that if he couldn't follow his parents rules, then the State would impose new rules that would be much worse. I really do like our neighborhood, and in this particular case am very glad we have curfew laws. Thanks for your input.
