Julie - I'm so glad to hear from you and that you are all doing well. I knew you'd be up and about quickly and I was just about to ask where you were. I found it much easier to bounce back after the second baby than I did with the first - probably because the 1st one already has you trained... You're doing great if you can keep up with the dishes & laundry.
Congratulations on that healthy, growing baby boy! It is great to be back in your clothes already, but I hope you're eating well and taking care of yourself - not overdoing it - LOL. Sorry to take up where your mom & dad left off, but you know a mom is a mom. Hopefully you can work out the problems with the kids and not have to move too quickly. That would certainly accelerate the decluttering, but its alot to handle with a new baby and a 3 yo. Are they damaging things on purpose, or just playing too close to the house and truck? I've had some of those problems myself, so I know how it is from both sides. I've had things damaged from kids playing in my yard & driveway when I'm not home - some of it deliberate... Then I have to deal with my neighbor who gets upset at kids playing on the basketball goal in my driveway and letting the balls hit his truck (also used, but his pride & joy). Problem is, I'm not home and they're not my kids! I can't stop other kids from using the goal when the driveway is empty. I told him to feel free to chase them off. Interestingly, some times when I come home it is HIS kids and their friends playing on our goal next to his truck! My kids also play soccer in the front yard or in the street. I'm in a house, but the houses are fairly close together, so no matter what the kids are playing, where they are or whose kids they are the balls are flying and hitting things. I tell them all to be careful, but they do need to get out and play. I'm not sure that moving will solve your problem, unless you move to an older area with no kids - just remember that someday your kids will be out looking for someone to play with... So how is your dd doing with the baby? Usually they do not interfere too much with the older one's turf at first, since they mostly sleep & eat. By the time he's actually moving around she'll be accustomed to having him around. Take care and keep in touch when you can.
