Good morning to all!!! I have seen a few posts this morning for Tuesday Challenges and have little doubt that I will still be working by tomorrow. I need to start today. I am not sure what has happened in the last two weeks here, but all my moving forward in cleaning and decluttering has slipped back to an unhealthy, unrecognizable state. My home is a 4 level split, and right now there is not a level, much less a room, I would be willing to show to anyone. My main floor has an entryway, livingroom, kitchen and dining room (with computer). My goal is get these main area straightened today. I also need to keep my laundry running. I got that mostly caught up over the weekend, but there are still 4 or 5 loads to do. The most difficult thing is to not get sidetracked (by other area of my homee). If I can get one part done all the way, then dh can see a change when he gets home. Also it is spring break here, so I have 3 kids home. Oldest is 6, so they are not a great help when it comes to cleaning. After the main level is spotless (well, as spotless as it can be, which is probably more accurately described as simply, healthy, LOL) I need to tackle the third level, the playroom. It isn't that horrible. We have shelves so it's more a matter of where to put the toy bins and games on the shelves. I need some ideas on storing things like kids craft supplies, including beads, play-dough, colouring books, crayons, paints, scissors, glue, etc. I was considering putting them in plastic storage bins on playroom shelves where kids can't reach and would need an adult to assist them in getting them out, but I'm not sure if I would really maintain that kind of a system. Right now they are in the kitchen/dining area, but it is too cluttered and I want some open clear space. Does anyone have any suggestions? Well I'm off to work. It is 7:45 am, and I'm sure I will be back to my computer for periodic breaks. Is anyone else out there working this Monday??? (Please tell me I'm not alone!)
