rebecca -

Sounds like you'll leave your house in good shape when you head out for the
weekend. Congratulations on that - hope you have a good trip.

I thought about you yesterday when I went through a stack of papers on my
counter. I just did a basic clearing of stuff I knew could go and stacked the
rest of it on the file cabinet to deal with when school is over. The pile is
not too bad, but it will take a concentrated effort to make decisions and
deal with it and I'd rather do that all at once and be finished.

You mentioned still not feeling well - I've been sick myself off and on for a
couple of months with sinus and repeated stomach problems, probably due to
stress and exhaustion. I notice that when I'm not well I have a harder time
dealing with things that require decisions - like papers... I can wipe the
counter, do the laundry, bathrooms, floors, whatever, because that doesn't
take thinking and making decisions.

I still have leftovers from my garage sale last month because I was so sick &
tired when it was over that I just couldn't make another decision. I gave
myself permission to just let it wait til I was feeling up to dealing with
it. Now that soccer is ended and school is almost out I hope that will be
soon...

I guess what I'm saying is that its okay to give yourself a break when
there's something you don't feel up to. I'm sure clearing your desk requires
alot of thought, which may be too much for you right now. I also know that
when you're ready to do it you will get it done. Try not to let it worry you
in the meantime.

Diane
