Juba, 23rd February 2011 [Gurtong]- While addressing the press in Juba, the GOSS Minister for Peace and CPA implementation Mr. Pagan Amum said that, GOSS transition aims at creating a broad and inclusive government. “The Government of Southern Sudan has a very clear strategic policy in reconciling these armed groups and political parties”, Pagan said. He reiterated that recently 200 people both civilians and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army-SPLA lost their lives in a rebel related attack. Other militia groups in the South include; General Tanginya’s group, Militia of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement for Democratic Change-SPLM-DC, and the Lord’s Resistance Army-LRA in Northern Bar el Ghazal.
