The Southern Sudan Legislative Assembly (SSLA) suspended, until
further notice, deliberation on the 2011 draft budget in its second
reading today. The SSLA Speaker, James Wani Igga, ordered closure of
the session due to, what he called, a mess in the document distributed
to the members of the August House.

Igga directed the SSLA Committee of Development, Economy and Finance
to make amendments to their report. "We closed this sitting so that we
leave the Committee to go and make all the amendments and withdraw all
these incorrect documents and then give us your final documents," he
said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Committee, Barri Wanji, apologized
and admitted that there were mistakes in the report.
