March consumer price index drops in the south Tuesday, 19 April 2011 09:28 Sudan >>> The March edition of the monthly survey carried out by the Southern Sudan Census Commission says a decrease has occurred in the consumer price index. The release indicates that urban household expenditure has gone down by nearly 1 percent since February.
The Director of Economic Statistics in the Census Commission, David Chan Thiang, explained that the decrease does not mean a drop in the prices of goods. The Census Commission said they will produce a monthly consumer price index for a market basket of consumer goods and services for the rest of the three regional capitals in Southern Sudan. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "JFD info" group.
