Ministries Practice National Anthem For To Be Republic Of South Sudan News from Sudan Radio Service The National Anthem for South Sudan will be practiced every Wednesday by ministries, to get ready for the 9th of July.
Speaking to SRS the GoSS information minister Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin expressed his joy after a rehearsal on Wednesday. [Benjamin Marial] “oh I have got confidence now because I can even sing it off without looking at the words in the paper and am glad that we in the ministry of information starting from the messenger to the minister all of us have come here so that we can learn the national anthem to sing it in the right way because this is the pride and the dignity of the new nation of Republic of South Sudan. We hope on the 9th our people will be able to sing it when the celebrations are being held, I would also encourage other ministries o start making the same so that their official can begin to learn it and when they go back to their homes, they can equally go and teach their families so that their children can sing at home” The leader of the National anthem choir Mido Samuel suggested that it should be broadcast for the public. [Samuel Middo] “We hope if all the people in Southern Sudan could manage to know the anthem fast, a letter should be taken to the broadcast media basically so every FM radio must have half an hour to broadcast the national anthem so that everyone at home and everywhere will sing these words. South Sudan will raise the flag of the new country on the 9th of July 2011, in one month’s time. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "JFD info" group.
