10 June 2011—(Bentiu) —The minister for information in Unity state
said that the Sudan Armed Forces on Thursday launched air strikes in,
Pariang county in the state.

Gideon Gatpan Thoar condemned the attacks by SAF adding that it’s a
violation of the CPA.

[Gideon Gatpan Thoar]”Sudan army forces are now declaring themselves
to fight the South. This is a serious violation of the comprehensive
peace agreement because we are still been burn by the comprehensive
peace agreement, so we see like the international community need also
to advice Khartoum on their serious violation of the agreement ahead
