Bashir to meet top leaders during China visit Tuesday, 28 June 2011 17:53 Sudan >>> Chinese President Hu Jintao and other top leaders are scheduled to meet with visiting Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir on Wednesday, China's Foreign Ministry's spokesman Hong Lei said on Tuesday, adding that Bashir's delayed arrival will not affect the talks.
Bashir arrived in China early Tuesday morning after a 24-hour delay of his flight from Iran. In an interview with Radio Miraya earlier, Sudan's Foreign Ministry's spokesperson, Al-Ebied Marwah, said the flight-plan of the presidential plane carrying Bashir was changed by Turkmenistan's aviation authorities, necessitating the pilot to return to Iran. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "JFD info" group.
