i have followed the instructions by letter, and i have checked the related Apache .conf
i think php must be version 4.1 or 4.3 something.. does this matter?

Be sure you install the PHP cli too, not just the
Apache Module, where did you install PHP? You can also manually put the path to php.exe or
php-cli.exe.
Which version of PHP are you installing?
