Hi Darren,

This all depends on what put the interface into its current state.

If you have a SLA made to send you emails when some threshold is reached, then the SLA will last 30 minutes, every time. This is configured from the Event Types screen.

If you have a Special Poller with a Backend and a Special Event Type and everything, then you can make it go Yellow->Green whenever you want. (This of course requires programming and its more complex).

Case in point - I have an interface which I monitor for traffic
levels - if they exceed a certain utilisation level, JFFNMS sends
me an alert, and changes the relavent host on the map to yellow.

data, that subsequent polls have found the data level to be lower

Which process monitors/changes this, and can I drop the time lag
between the device going into the "OK" state, and the map showing this state change?
