We are having problems getting discovery to find all the interfaces on several Dell PowerConnect 3024 and PowerConnect 3048 switches. Discovery only finds the TCP ports and does not find any interfaces at all. Discovery works fine on all our Cisco switches and Dell 3300, 3400, and 5300 series switches. Manually running snmpwalk from the prompt on the server that is running JFFNMS discovers all the interfaces okay. The only odd thing I see when comparing snmpwalk's output between the 3000 series and the newer switches is that no string is returned for the interface description:

Any help would be appreciated with troubleshooting this issue. We are having a strange problem at one school that is occurring at night and on weekends and I am trying to track it down using traps.
