Thank you Craig, Updating interface is not a problem, I can go to the Interface 
screen, select the type and update every wanted interface with one single 
click. The problem is that I must also change the RRD step values for this 
interface (before I create the interface I guess otherwise the rrd will have a 
bad step), so if I want some interface to have default poller value to 5 
minutes and other interface to only poll every 30 minutes I cannot.

It will be great to have this choice for reducing load on a server.

I don't think you can group them by interface type but there is a
polling interval parameter for each interface.  I suppose you could
somehow group them together and do a direct database injection to
update it, if there was a lot of them.

I haven't look too close to the code around that area, but I'm pretty
sure the polling planner looks at that field to work out what interfaces
need to get polled soon.

Perhaps Javier can confirm this, I notice the documentation doesn't even
mention this field :(
