Hello!

I plan to spend some time next week on implementing an extensible
authentication system for JFFNMS.

In a post on this list from some time ago a read, that different
authentication backends should be implemented on top of a "plugin"
architecture.

At http://www.magma.com.ni/sw/jffnms/jffnms_auth.txt I gathered my
ideas about this.

In the same diretory you can also find jffnms_auth.dia/jffnms_auth.ps
which is a "trivial" ER-Diagram for the proposal.

Would it be the right way (tm) to put different auth_backends in
individual files into a "./auth" directory in the JFFNMS root?

Examples: auth/ldap.inc.php, auth/local.inc.php, for "ldap" and
"local" authentication backends (plugins).

Best Regards,

     Jorge-León
