It's easy.
1) install the package with apt, you may need the universe or multiverse repositories enabled but I am not sure which it's actually in. apt-get install jffnms Say yes to all dependencies and let it install. 2) Symlink the apache config from the jffnms config dir to the apache sites enabled directory. ln -s /etc/jffnms/apache.conf /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/001-jffnms 3) restart apache /etc/init.d/apache2 restart 4) browse to the jffnms page, which will bring a setup page to set your configuration. http://localhost/jffnms/ If you have issues, ensure that the password for mysql is correct (or pgsql if you prefer it for some reason). Once that is done you can go into the administration and add hosts/devices, all of which is documented elsewhere.
