I Just ran into a problem with a jfs volume on one of my linux boxes
today:

Just got these error messages in my logs today:

subsequent fsck shows:

fnth46 etc # fsck.jfs /dev/md6

further information:

fnth46 root # uname -a
Linux fnth46 2.6.10-ac5 #1 SMP Fri Jan 7 12:22:27 CET 2005 i686 Intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

fnth46 root # uptime

Reboot on 2005-03-11 was after an unclean shutdown

fnth46 home # ls -la wessely/public_html/inde*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 204 Mar 4 13:20 wessely/public_html/index.html
(backup file hasn't been touched since this time)

fsck.jfs version 1.1.7 was installed after getting the kernel error and
r/o remount; previosuly, I was running 1.1.3.

Any Idea what's going on and (more important) what I should do to
prevent something like this from reoccuring?
Any further Information I can provide?

Thanks, Martin
