Yeah, I wouldn't expect it to be the same problem. There is a problem fixed in jfsutils-1.1.8 that could cause an xtree to become corrupt when replaying the journal, but I don't know how likely you are to encounter that bug. It wouldn't hurt to upgrade to 1.1.8.
