Only through the jfs_debugfs utility. The timestamp is set when the
file is created, but never modified after that.

Yes, that's why I'm asking for. It would be nice to have a generic
birth time stamp as it exists on some BSD systems but I think there
are no such efforts on Linux. So to use it with JFS there is a
filesystem specific hook needed.
