(sheepishly) well, either I had too much wine last night, or my mind is
just generally going (my wife agrees on both accounts) - things are now
running perfectly normal (this is a production workload).  
I don't know what to say - what I saw yesterday was mind boggling, and
the fact that I am now not seeing it is equally so.
