I'll repeat that this is a fortunate occurrence, because "defrag
tool" above really means "inplace defrag tool" and that is a bad
idea, and a copying defrag tool can be 'tar' or 'rsync', and
copying defrag is a much better idea than inplace defrag.

The argument applies to all file system types, especially for
large and critical filesystems.
