Well, there's https://bugzilla.kernel.org and of course the bugtracker on 
SF and also the mailing list archive for "known issues".

JFS is in maintenance-mode, development has stopped for a while now, so 
../fs/jfs from the Ubuntu kernel should be equal to the latest vanilla 
one.

This is with jfsutils-1.1.15, right? Also, do you see any errors in your 
syslog for the disks in question?
