Hi,
I have been reading that there are many add-ons for VLC to make it do much
more. It seems like that in order to play blu-ray, you must download and
install that add-on. I just realized yesterday that VLC has many add-ons to
make it do much more than just using the program alone. You can even use VLC to
make very good quality recordings if you install that add-on. This is great,
because you can make VLC player your own personal player depending on the
add-ons you want to download and install. Have a great one. By the way, I found
out as well, that my DVD drive cannot play blu-rays. Unfortunately, I cannot
test this either. I am so very happy that all of you are discussing VLC and
researching it on your own. I use VLC for playing any audio files, even .ogg
files, which are very rare. It is easy to create play lists with VLC. In two
weeks, when I have researched it enough, along with its add-ons, I will do an
audio tutorial and send it to anyone who wants it. I really believe that we are
on to something with VLC, and I encourage all of you to keep researching as
well. Have a great one.

Very carefully. At first, neither my sighted guide nor I could make head or
tail of it. Than I did a right click, and things began to appear. Later, I
read the help documentation, and learned how easy it was supposed to be.
Actually,. it works reasonably well with plain DVD’s. If you don’t want to see
it automatically, you can adjust Autoplay to either take no action, or ask you
what you want to do.

Ted:

I noticed that POWER DVD comes up when I try and load a blu-ray disk, but there
is nothing about POWER DVD that is accessible. How did you get around that,
yourself?
