Can someone explain to me and perhaps others what Braille viewer is, and how
exactly it works?

I am using Jaws 16 mere, and found the option in the start menu under Jaws.

Is this something that already is enabled, or do I have to enable it? If
so, how? And, will I have to enable it every time I need it, or is enabling
it a set it and forget it kind of thing?

Artur,

Look in the startmenu, all programs, Jaws if you have the option for Braille
viewer.
This will place an window on screen, where a sighted person can see, what
jaws is reading.
