Try installing the DropVox app on your device. This can then be linked with your DropBox. So, once you have a DropVox folder on your desktop computer as well, that's where you put your BARD books. Now, you should be able to open them on your device.
I have DropVox on my iPhone, and I can move files back and forth by placing them in the DropVox folder. Both your desktop and your I device must, of course be turned on. Make sure you have the same logon parameters for your desktop and your I device DropBox. Maybe someone else has better instructions, but hope this can get you started.
