NVDA can work better with math symbols and equations rendered in math ML
much better than JAWS can. I tutor math, and I use NVDA to read math almost
exclusively. If you have Microsoft word, mathplayer, which is an add on to
word, and the math content is rendered in a language called math ML, it can
be read much better with NVDA. Also, if you download math player to work
with your browsers, math content on the web can be read very well with NVDA.

I will talk to you more about this. It is good that someone is helping him
use NVDA. That is the first start. It is a free open-source screen reader
that can interact with what is written on the screen in ways that even JAWS
cannot read. NVDA does not have bells and whistles that JAWS does, but it is
much better for reading math. Have a great one.

I was talking to my alternative media guy at the college. I have a student
that will be taking statistics. She will be learning MVDA from him. I
asked him what it was about MVDA that makes him want to teach her for
statistics. He told me that MVDA reads math while JAWS does not. I am a
math major, and if this is true, can be vitally important to me. Do you
