I just use firefox' live bookmark feature. On the bookmark menu there is a 'Subscribe to this page' item that will become active if the site offers a feed (or it will be a sub-menu if the site offers more than one feed. Upon selecting the item a window will come up that allows a bit of customization, I usually just tab to the 'subscribe' button and hit space.
After that the feed shows up under the 'bookmarks toolbar' sub-menu of the main bookmarks menu.
