Hi Holly,

I am enclosing a link from a individual that is, I think, a Moodle user. I
just read the article and he gives advice on what to turn on or off. I believe
he gives his e-mail address also. Hope this helps. Since Moodle is open
source software, I am thinking it works well with JAWS. Of course, it may be
like Blackboard and work as well as the professor that sets it up.

I have done so, but it has been a while. It mostly worked pretty well.

Subject: Moodle with JAWS - nice combo?

Hi List,
I'm new. I called Freedom Scientific tech support to check, before enrolling
my 11th grade braille-using student in online chemistry, if JAWS played nicely
with the underlying platform upon which the online course is offered, Moodle.
John at FS tech support had never heard of Moodle, and couldn't offer any
advice about JAWS ability to interact with it. Has anyone here ever taken a
Moodle-based online course using JAWS? Thanks for any opinion. -Holly, a
newbie
