Hi,
I have also seen the "at risk" nonsense warning from MSE because I have not
either run the scan or updated the definitions.
I am on 7 but I still have a XP machine.

For those of you who are still running XP and using MSE, you may notice that
the MSE icon in your System Tray is now reporting your PC status as "At
Risk". Do not be alarmed by this message. It is merely a scare tactic on
the part of MS to frighten XP users into upgrading to Windows 8 or 8.1. The
XP version of MSE will continue to be supported through July, 2015. This
means that it will continue to provide real-time protection and automatic
updates to the definitions database until then. Of course, support for XP
itself ended yesterday, so if you are still running XP, proceed withcaution.

Gerald
