The quickest way I know of is to create a new voice profile with the desired
language and then switch back and forth with the control+insert+s command to
select that particular voice profile. I have a couple of English and Spanish
language profiles set up with differetn synthesizers and levels of verbosiby
and go back and forth using this method.
I have written to FS's suggestions email requesting enhanced multi-language
support, but doubt this is something that's on their radar. I suggested
something along the line of associating emails, urls, country domains, etc
to specific voice/language profiles to make the user experience much
smoother and efficient. Even the ctl+insert+s command is a big time
improvement than before when you had to go into Jaws and all the submenus.
Still though, for those of us who interact in multiple languages
professionally or in our personal lives, eliminating this additional step
would be even better.

Anyway, the control+insert+s is probably what your clients are looking for.

Subject: Switching languages on the fly using JAWS.

Hi folks! Is there a way to switch languages on the fly using JAWS? I am
working with a couple of clients who are fluent in both English and Spanish,
and want to be able to use both at different times doing their jobs.
